This is based on a true story as told by the sister of a young man who was a casual user who became addiction to heroin. After over twenty attempts to get free, he finally died from an overdose. He left behind many people who loved him and needed him. Bring your hankies. DRUG WARS - The High Times This docudrama stars Joel David Moore (Avatar, Dodgeball) and is a great vehicle to help teens understand the dangers of excess drinking. They learn about the bad things that can happen if you drink and drive, or just drink too much. They also see that if you aren't drinking you actually can get more of the good things in life. It's a great story and a lot of fun to watch. DRUG WARS - It can Happen to You Take an average family and throw in a little E or other club-type drugs and you have what turned out to be another tragic tale. This story follows one young man from his high school days to his casual drug use then to his full blown accusation. We follow him through the court system as told by his parole officer. We hear what the judge has to say about him and his criminal activities. We hear from the arresting officers and then from his drug treatment counselor. Some say this is the best of the stories we have produced. You be the judge. DRUG WARS - Drugs of the Rave Culture It is always amazing to learn that some people really don't believe club drugs are harmful. A national authority, Eric Martin discusses the effects of these drugs. When the audience learns about what these drugs do to them, they get it. This is a great film to show to all kinds of groups. Parents are good one to target because they don't understand the dangers of these types of drugs. DRUG WARS - Who Will Cry for Our Children One of the most powerful programs you will ever see relating to drug prevention and why it's important. Even the toughest people will be affected by this presentation. When you see the helpless babies injected with morphine to help them get over the pain of their withdrawals, you have to have an emotional response. If you want to grab someone and help them understand why fighting the drug wars is important, show them this film. DRUG WARS - Last Call Fetal Alcohol syndrome and effects are the only preventable birth defect, yet still millions of women still believe it is on to have a drink during pregnancy. It is even more amazing to know there are doctors who still recommend their patients a drink or two. Two of the World's leading authorities discuss the medical implications and the human destruction of drinking during pregnancy. This should be seen by every woman of child-baring age. DRUG WARS - The New Marijuana This ain't your grand dady's weed. The chemical makeup of today's marijuans is completely different from the weed of the 60's. National authority, Eric Martin tells viewers about how these chemicles affect the brain. If you want to convince someone today's marijuana isn't harmless, this film will make the point. It has been used extensively by many law enfrcement officers, drug treatment counsolers, teachers and more because it really is the best thing out there to reach the audience. DRUG WARS - Up Against the Stem The debate over marijuana has been going on for centuries and the argument is still the same. Find out from a treatment group how it really works. This comes back to the statement, I made a long time ago and it still stands. "I have yet to hear a good story about illegal drugs unless it ended with, "and then I was able to get clean." DRUG WARS - Rx to Die for One of the most dangerous drugs on the market today are found in your medicine cabinet and your children and grandchildren know it. Problem is more kids are dying today from prescription drugs than illegal drugs. This is a great educational piece to help everyone know how dangerous these "legal" drugs are. DRUG WARS- Kickin Butts This wonderful film actually makes you want to quit smoking. You follow Dianne every step of the way as she kicks the addicition to cigaretts. With the support of her family, friends, employeer, a sessation group and others, she makes it. It shows quitters what to expect and shows many of the little tricks successful quitters employ to get off tobacco. This has been used extensively by the American Lung Association and the American Cancer Society. Target Teen The original idea for this film was to convince today's kids that going along with the pack is usually contrived by someone who wants to take advantage of you. Like the tobacco companies who really want to get our kids to start smoking thereby helping them improve therr profits. What goes on behind the closed doors of these big companies? As you follow the people in this fictionalized story meet with the big tobacco man, your audience gets the idea that money is the driving force behind the advertising. A great way to make a point and to get them thinking and talking about how people suggest using substances for only one reason -- to get their money. |
